Alpha Xi Delta and Autism Speaks

The Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta proudly supports Autism Speaks and their mission to promote awareness, acceptance, and advocacy for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) since our partnership began in 2009. Autism Speaks is currently the nation's leading Autism advocacy and research organization.

 Introducing the New Autism Speaks:

Celebrating 15 years of progress, we're reintroducing ourselves and kicking off a campaign to make 2020 the “Year of Kindness."

Football FrenXi:

The ladies of the Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta host our annual Football FrenXi on campus each spring semester. We recently held the 2019 AmaXing Challenge, Football FrenXi, on April 7th. We had 8 teams participate in a flag football tournament. Teams battled and battled until the winners, Phi Delta Theta was crowned victorious! All of the proceeds go toward Autism Speaks.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks- Milwaukee, WI

We volunteer for the Autism Speaks Walk in Milwaukee each fall and we plan to continue to do so in support of Autism awareness. In addition to volunteering, each of our sisters has a personal donation page to raise money for Autism Speaks!  This year our goal is $4,300 and any donations will be greatly appreciated. Please contact jamee.edlebeck@snc.edu with any questions!

Social Bingo:

This year we participated in Social Bingo which was a fundraising challenge for our sisterhood. It was a social media fundraising event where our chapter raised a total of $510 in one week. Thank you to all of you who donated to our wonderful philanthropy Autism Speaks.

Bake Sales:

In addition to our other activities, we hold bake sales! Sisters make brownies, puppy chow, peanut butter cookies, and many other delicious treats. Our next bake sale will take place in the Fall of 2020!
